Surfkite klinics a big success

The 1st Beaver Surfkite klinic for this season went well on sunday with about a dozen keen participants riding and learning with Daniel Bevan and Nathan Katterns. A small swell meant perfect opportunity to practice new techniques. Every level of rider benefitted from advanced to begginner and there was plenty of enthusiasm to go round.

The Saturday demo was also a huge success. The new F-one Bamboo Surfboards were a favourite to demo, beautiful shapes from F-one in the finest quality construction. The 6'0 with straps or unstrapped had great reviews and the 5'2 fish was a surprise package, giving riders a new sensation of surfing freedom. And once again the Bandit III kites amazed all who rode them. If you are interested in trying any of the 2010 F-one range or coming to a kite klinic email@m8kite.com

More klinics and demo days are in the works including one in Sydney on the 25 November and Melbourne 2nd December, Adelaide soon after. Plus another on the sunshine coast in the new year. Check out the flyer at top left for a bit of a rundown and tell your local shop you would be keen to see the F-one team in your town.

If there is no wind then there is always Stand up and normal surfboards to use and of course the new kites to drool over. Anyway this weekend the wind gods smiled upon M8 and we rode 2 days of magic weather and met lots of new friends. In between coaching and imparting their massive amount of surf knowledge Beav and Nathan showed us how its done with some serious strapless style (pics at left)
